Now that you have your new website, what do you do?

Begin creating or editing by logging in:

If you are working on a new website that is on the development server, your login address will look like: sitename.ucmerced.edu.672elmp01.blackmesh.com/userĀ - hit enter/return and you will be prompted to log in through CAS authentication.

If you are editing a live site on the production server, your login address will look like: sitename.ucmerced.edu/userĀ - hit enter/return and you will be promted to log in with your UCM ID.

HTML knowledge is not required to build a website using our CampusCMS Drupal templates. This allows you to focus on content development which is the crucial componenet to a website that supports and helps you achieve your website goals.

Once you are logged in, you should see the grey administration toolbar at the top which provides the control to add and manage your website content such as:

Pages

News

Events

People (directory listing on your site for staff or faculty)

Panoramic Slideshow (Yosemite template) or Slide (Retiring Blue theme)

Webforms

Other custom "Content" types
